Thursday’s Special Event is a chance to kick back after busy days of Conference workshops, presentations and Exhibit Hall meet-ups. Join us that evening for a Southwest sunset descending the sky to the beat and voices of The Hamptons, repeatedly voted best live band in Arizona. Expect to be dazzled by this high-energy ensemble who has been performing together for years. Bring your song requests! Preview the excitement!
IUCX and the City of Phoenix work cooperatively to block 3rd Street from vehicle traffic, and host utility Salt River Project positions its heavy equipment for extra security on the City street where the Phoenix Convention Center’s North and West Buildings face.
IUCX’s fiesta callejera will feature colorful decorations, specialty drinks spiked with everyone’s distilled blue agave favorite, outdoor games and regional street food like walking tacos, grilled corn on the cob and empañadas. It’s a relaxing time for talking with friends, dancing to a wide variety of tunes and enjoying what we know will be a spectacular sunset in The Valley.
