FlowForward made its debut this year in Tampa. What stood out most was the energy in the room and the conversations that followed.
Attendees didn’t just show up. They engaged. They shared. They connected over something often overlooked in broader industry spaces: water.
Again and again, we heard how refreshing it was to have a space dedicated to water utilities and a place where the conversations felt immediately relevant. Where stories weren’t just interesting, they were usable. “I can actually take this back home,” one attendee noted, and that sentiment echoed throughout the event.
The feedback was clear: the topics resonated, the discussions felt grounded, and the experience created room for real exchange—not just passive listening.

And behind it all, a big thank you to our steering committee. Their vision and effort shaped an experience that felt thoughtful, engaging, and genuinely valuable from start to finish.
To everyone who joined us, thank you for being open, engaged, and a willing to go with the flow (pun slightly intended), as we built this event together. Next year is already on its way to becoming an unstoppable current of water-focused education!
If you’re interested in helping shape what comes next, we’d love to hear from you. Submit a topic for consideration at iucx.org/call-2027 and select FlowForward, or reach out to jsmith@iucx.org to learn more about joining the steering committee. Let’s keep the momentum flowing.
